GIVING BACK

Peninsula School Feeding Association

The Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) was established to address the problem of hunger in school children. PSFA provides meals to primary, secondary and special-needs school learners in the Western Cape.
CTP’s packaging divisions, which includes Boxes for Africa, sponsors five schools ensuring the approximately 852 children are fed two wholesome meals a day.

FoodBank SA

Approximately 14 million South Africans go hungry every day. FoodBank SA collects edible surplus food from manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers and redistributes this food to hundreds of verified NPO’s that collectively feed thousands of hungry people daily.
Every year on Mandela Day, 18th of July, The team from Boxes for Africa prepare food parcels in partnership with FoodBank SA for 67 minutes.

16 Days of Activism

16 Days of Activism is a global campaign opposing violence against women and children. Boxes for Africa fully supports this campaign and has partnered with Women against Rape (WAR) to raise awareness of and to oppose violence against women and children.
Volunteers from our Western Cape Divisions, which includes Boxes for Africa, gather each year to prepare comfort packages, educational kits and sandwiches for our surrounding communities.
